Isla Guadalupe |

Traveled to San Diego with fellow Bluegrass Dive Club members Jimmy and Dan, and then transferred to Ensenada, Mexico by bus, joining other guests to board the M/V Solmar V. Once on board we departed for the eighteen hour boat trip to Isla Guadalupe, approximately 180 miles from shore. Upon arrival we found perfect weather and the Great White Sharks shortly thereafter. The cages were deployed and we were all anxious to get in the water (with our cameras). We spent 2.5 days observing and photographing the large sharks, up close and personal. (Being inside a cage was a good idea!) The weather changed about the same time we left the island, making for rough conditions returning to Ensenada.
